Our MD just sent word that expats are approved today a "short work schedule for those who wish to take advantage of the Thanksgiving Holiday. " Since non-expats have a regular day, we are advised to keep our exit "low key". That is certainly me.
To say Thanksgiving is my favorite Holiday is an understatement. In fact, that may be what I love about it. Thanksgiving is an understated holiday. It is not about getting stuff, it is about giving thanks for stuff.
I think it is appropriate that we expats are slipping out of work early and keeping it "low key."
I hope you all have a happy and "low key" Thanksgiving as well.
